La Madrugada ('The Dawn') is a modern luxury villa set with other similarly large and exclusive villas, in a desirable residential location five to ten minutes by car to Moraira beach and town centre. Built on the top ridge of a pine covered hill straddling two valleys, south-west facing with all-day sunshine, it enjoys an elevated position affording stunning views of the various distant inland valleys and the Bernia mountain ranges which act as a backdrop to the most mesmerising sunsets. Accommodation: Large triple aspect circular living room, with a large Digital Satellite television*, DVD player, CD/radio/tape player and ceiling fan. There is a modern fully fitted kitchen. The tiled roof conservatory (more an observatory) has windows which open fully and make it a perfect dining room at any time of the day or night. This room is well furnished with wicker armchairs and an attractive new modern dining suite. There are three bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin). The doubles (one being accessed separately from the outside lower level) have their own fully tiled en-suite shower rooms whereas the twin has a separate fully tiled shower room adjacent to it. A free 1000mbs Mesh Internet connection is available for guests to use.
I live in Norfolk, UK and love to spend as much time as possible in sunny Moraira. We have been holidaying there for nearly 20 years and love it so much we bought a place. I am now retired and hope to spend as much time there as I can.
MORAIRA: originally a small fishing village within the municipality of Teulada, has grown into a holiday and retirement resort within the last 25 years. The village centre, with its small and colourful Main Street, still retains much of the original character and atmosphere. The Local Authority has exerted strong planning control since the beginning and prevented the development characteristic of other Spanish coastal resorts and the terrain, sloping gently from the coast into the pine clad foothills, provides views of the coastline uncluttered with high-rise buildings. The geographical features provide an almost perfect location as the valley, which descends down to Moraira beach, is the meeting point of several mountain streams which continue to run out to sea, along the side of the beach itself, even during the hottest and driest August weather. The surrounding hills provide both shelter from the harsh winter weather from the north and a cooling summer sea breeze. The development in the area is almost wholly of detached villas and the typically Spanish "pueblo-style" developments, with few holiday apartments and no 'holiday package' hotels whatsoever.
