I consider myself a quiet and responsible person and in my free time I like to walk around our village and enjoy the views it offers; have a glass of wine in one of the many restaurants, bars and cafes that the village has, along with some of the wonderful cheeses that are made on our island or our rich and varied local dishes.

Welcome to our house, to your house, to a house impregnated with the experiences of our family and of those who pass through here every year and give us a little bit of them. Come and meet us! Silene Orotava Pension is located in the historic centre of La Villa de La Orotava (Tenerife), of great monumentality and beauty, in a 19th century family house of eclectic style. It has double rooms and rooms for single use, all with private bathrooms and most of them with their own terrace. The upper and lower lounges invite you to relax and have a chat or a quiet read. The central courtyard of the house is very pleasant and cosy. Silene Orotava aims to make its guests feel at home, offering a familiar and very personalised service.

La Orotava is catalogued as a historical-artistic and monumental site. It has a multitude of points of heritage interest and is an essential visit in Tenerife. The visitor, walking through its streets, will discover its cultural wealth. The most outstanding buildings and monuments in the old quarter are: -The parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Concepción. -Casas de los Balcones, a jewel of popular island architecture. La Orotava also has gardens that can be visited: -Hijuela del Botánico, a garden with tropical plants from South America, Central Africa and Australia. and Australia -The Victoria Garden, built by the artist Adolph Coquet (19th century) in a staggered composition with views over the Old Town of La Orotava. The mountains of La Orotava offer the possibility of hiking: -The Teide National Park, is an excursion not to be missed. Unique landscape of craters, volcanoes and rivers of petrified lava surrounding the 3,718 m high Teide Volcano. -La Fortaleza. -La Caldera and Los Organos. Its beautiful black sand beaches are well worth a visit: -Bollullo beach. -Los Patos beach.
