Casa Zacarias consists of two, fully renovated flats (first and second floors) that can be rented together or separately. Each flat has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, a bright living room and terrace, and a kitchen. The apartment kitchens are equipped with basic amenities such as an induction stove, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a juice machine, plates and cutlery, a washing machine and an iron. All rooms are oriented towards the outside, allowing you to enjoy the views of the surrounding area. The common areas include a wine cellar (basement), a garden, and a “txoko” – a rustic kitchen-dining area for picnics that includes a low fireplace for grilling. The house uses sustainable energy systems for heating (pellets) and hot water (aerothermal system).
Welcome to the place where I spent the long summers of my childhood and adolescence. Days of being down by the river, of bike riding and eating sunflower seeds...It is a large house with great views, perfect for families with children, groups of friends or even small professional groups. I hope you will experience the peace and tranquility of the sun, the north wind, and those starry nights that can only be seen in places like this.
It’s the perfect place to rest, relax, enjoy beautiful starry nights and let yourself melt into the rural backdrop full of grain fields, peppers, tomatoes and other natural products that can be bought directly from the producers, such as El Chato Pepper, just 300 m from the house. Nearby there is a pool, a river for bathing and fishing, a lake, hiking and biking routes (such as the Way of Saint James), a fronton court, and a playground. For skiers, the slopes of Valdezcaray are short drive (40 km), and golfers can enjoy the Cirueña golf course (20 km). For lovers of good food and wine, there is the Vivanco Museum of Wine, numerous wineries, as well as well-recognized restaurants where you can savor the typical cuisine of the La Rioja region.
