This villa has some of the most beautiful views over the Urdaibai Reserve. It has been our family home for many years, and we still return every summer to enjoy it. Within walking distance, you can enjoy countless outdoor activities, both sports and nature observation. A five-minute drive takes you to the wonderful beaches of Laida and Laga, as well as many picturesque villages along the Basque coast. Mundaka, with its famous left-hand wave for surfers, Elantxobe on the cliff, Gernika and its famous tree, a symbol of the Basque people, and Bermeo with San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, famous for the filming of Game of Thrones, are all within a 15-minute drive. All of them offer high-quality culinary and cultural offerings. The house also has every comfort, with the pool area being especially pleasant, offering ample space for dining and relaxing while sunbathing and enjoying the garden and views. We hope you enjoy it.

The villa is located in the center of the reserve, and all the sites of interest can be reached in just 15 minutes by car. Mundaka, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Laida y Laga, Bermeo, and Gernika are all very close to the house. A walk of just 30 minutes takes you to the famous Oma Painted Forest, and from there, you can visit other places in the Basque Country a little further away by car. Bilbao, with the Guggenheim Museum and the airport, is just 35 minutes away by car. San Sebastian is just under an hour away, and Rioja wineries, such as Marques de Riscal, are just the same distance away. Other points of interest include the Chillida Museum, about 40 minutes away, and Etxebarri, considered the second best restaurant in the world, is another 40 minutes away. The local cuisine is excellent, with restaurants like the 3-Michelin-star Eneko Atxa, a 30-minute drive from the house, along with other fantastic restaurants like Baserri Maitea, Castillo de Arteaga, and El Francés in the immediate vicinity.
