Situated less than 1 km from Ruka Ski Centre, these cottages are just 100 metres from Lake Talvijärvi. Each provides a fully-equipped kitchen, a private sauna and a wood-burning fireplace. The nearest ski lift is 450 metres away. The wooden-furnished Matkailumaja Heikkala cottages all include a small patio. Amenities include a drying cabinet, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Firewood is provided for the fireplace. Free WiFi access is available, as well as a BBQ grill hut on site. The closest grocery store and restaurant are 1 km from Heikkala. Swimming and fishing in the lake are common area activities. Cross-country ski and snowmobile trails are also in the surroundings. Central Kuusamo and Oulanka National Park are both 25 minutes’ drive away.
