Ollero Eco Lodge is a traditional Finnish cottage, where we used to spend all holidays and weekends during our childhood. Arttu is the oldest of us and manages the daily tasks of Ollero Eco Lodge. He is the host and CEO. Arttu is a 38 years old friendly family guy. He lives in Rovaniemi with his wonderful wife Irina and their two beautiful daughters. Arttu is an engineer by profession as well as a passionate entrepreneur. He likes to spend his free time with the family and take his dog with and go hunting or fly fishing. Ollero Eco Lodge is family-owned environmentally friendly cottage retreat by the Ounasjoki river on the Arctic Circle – just outside the city lights of Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland. Ollero Eco Lodge is an ideal stay for couples, families and small groups who want to experience Lapland and the peace and quiet of arctic nature in an environmentally friendly way. A traditional Lapland cottage on the bank of the Ounasjoki river right outside the city of Rovaniemi, Ollero Eco Lodge is composed of three separate buildings; main lodge, sleeping cabin and a glass igloo. Enjoy your privacy: when staying here, all three buildings are reserved only for you. The large yard and nearby forest provide easy access to outdoor fun, whether exploring local nature, sledding or building snowmen tickles your fancy. Want to hunt for the Northern Lights? Just step out the door and you'll find yourself in a prime spot. There are three toilets in Ollero Eco Lodge, one in the Main Lodge and two additional eco-toilets in the Glass Igloo and the Sleeping Cabin.

Ollero Eco Lodge is located on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, only 7 km away from the city centre of Rovaniemi by the Ounasjoki river. It takes approximately 15 min to drive from Rovaniemi Airport to Ollero Eco Lodge and it takes around 10 min to get to the city center by a car. Ollero Eco Lodge is located by the Ounasvaara river at the end of a private street called Olleronlammentie. It is surrounded by forest and nearest neighbours are 300 meters away up to the street. Ollero Eco Lodge is easily accessed by a car or a taxi. It has a private parking area by the entrance at the yard. Also taxis can drive all the way to the yard. During the summertime and the autumn Ollero Eco Lodge is easily accessed by a bicycle. Nearest restaurants and shops are in the city center. The nearest grocery store is K-Market Lapinrinne (Risutie 2, 96190 Rovaniemi) 6 km away from Ollero towards the city. K-Market is open every day. When arriving to Ollero Eco Lodge from the airport, we recommend to make a stop at a supermarket called K-Citymarket or Lidl. They are on the way to Ollero and easily accessed by a car.
