L' ancient forge is a detached property that benefits from its own private garden and above ground swimming pool in the small village of Cherronac with a view of the church. It comprises of two bedrooms that will sleep eight people. The first room has a double bed and a pull out twin bed this room sleeps four. The second room has bunk beds and a double sofa bed so will sleep four. The local bar Is 100 meters away and the village is famous for being the source of the Charente!
I am an English speaking host. I have lovingly restored l'ancient forge to a holiday home but I have also tried to embrace its history by keeping some of the original components that were used in the forge such as the main turn machine and the original forge hood over the fireplace.
The source of the Charente is within walking distance.
