Behind Au Chat Qui Dort, we are two brothers: Baptiste & Julien. It was in 2016 that the first apartments of Au Chat Qui Dort were born. Originally, Baptiste was leaving his job in finance for a project combining his love for the city of Lille and his taste for old buildings (or beautiful bricks!). This marked the beginning of the renovation of the first establishment at 18 rue des Archives in the Vieux-Lille. Julien would join Baptiste in the adventure a year later. 'Together, we combined our entrepreneurial spirit and our high standards to develop Au Chat Qui Dort. The North is a welcoming region, and we are thrilled to continue this tradition!'"

Au Chat Qui Dort Lille - Villa Gounod is a former mansion designed by the architect “Lemay” in 1903, now offering 9 rooms and 1 Suite to welcome our guests for their short term stays in Lille. Located in a quiet residential area, Lille St Maurice, the property is easily accessible and very well located: in front of a metro station, 5min away from Lille Europe Railway station, with easy car access to the Lille ring RN 356. The main 10 rooms have been fully renovated in 2023 when Au Chat Qui Dort took over the “Hôtel Villa Gounod”. Le Chat Qui Dort, a Lille-based specialist in aparthotel accommodation, has added its own touch of design and modernity, while preserving the charm and history of the place, to make it a pleasant and warm place, ideal for your business or personal trips.
