Coen and Catherine Stork are popular hosts who have been welcoming guests to their Burgundy estate in the Morvan National Park for over 20 years. Their family château has become a leading destination for shooting parties in the winter and for gastronomic breaks in the spring and summer months. While guests may feel they are in a small boutique hotel, the château is not a hotel but a much-loved family home shared with their dogs, cat, and the occasional stray chicken or peacock.

Burgundy wines, made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, are as famous as the local cheeses, including Epoisses, Comté, and Delicé.
Coen is a knowledgeable wine expert with an enviable cellar filled from regular visits to local winemakers, and Catherine is a highly skilled cook who treats guests to many French classics as well as her own lovingly prepared dishes on her AGA, using local and seasonal ingredients. Together, they are perfect guides to accompany guests on a gastronomic journey through the world's most renowned culinary region. They will create a tailor-made programme for as many days and nights as you require.
A typical day could include a visit to a local market to sample local cheeses and buy the freshest produce for the day’s menus. You may want to visit a local Burgundy winemaker for a wine tasting, where you can learn how to pair wine with food. And back at the château, Catherine will demonstrate her cooking skills with you during cooking workshops.
