Château des Edelins is a hunting lodge and was built in 1638 to receive guests. Now it is a bed & breakfast with a relaxed family atmosphere, spacious rooms and a huge garden (4 hectares) with a swimming pool, where you can relax, play and hang out. The interior is stylish, with many authentic elements, old wooden floors, marble fireplaces, but in combination with modern furniture, a bit cool!

I have owned Château des Edelins since 2007 and I still live here with great pleasure. I think it is beautiful here. In such an old house and large garden there is always something to do, to renovate, to experience. And I like to share that with my guests. There are always rooms that are being renovated, but the orchard was also in need of renovation at some point. And that is how I keep the history (almost) alive. It is also good to walk, cycle, run, canoe and row in the area. And I do that with great enthusiasm. So feel free to ask me for good routes ;-)

Château des Edelins is beautifully situated in the countryside, with all the peace and space. But cities are nearby and small towns and villages are just around the corner. Vichy is Unesco World Heritage: a city that you have to have seen, with its fashionable buildings, nice shops and delicious restaurants. Here it seems to get more beautiful every year. Moulins is beautifully medieval. Clermont is pleasantly studenty. St. Pourçain is around the corner and here is one of France's best markets on Saturdays! Or the beautiful Charroux, on the list of the most beautiful villages in France.
