Les Contamines is located about 8 km south of Saint Gervais at the end of the valley. It can be reached by car from Geneva airport in just over an hour and 15 minutes from the Saint Gervais train station in Le Fayet and from the A40 highway (exit 21). Les Contamines is not on the radar of the major tour operators and has retained a genuine French feel. With 140kms of slopes and an excellent snow record Les Contamines is often described as a hidden gem and it also enjoys easy access to Saint Gervais. the chalet is located in the sunny La Frasse area of Les Contamines and enjoys magnificent views down the valley towards the ski slopes. The ski lifts are 2.2 km away and the chalet is approximately 200 metres from the routes of both the Tour de Mont Blanc and the GR5 and numerous other walking trails which are very popular in both the winter and the summer. The stop for the free shuttle bus (Nanette) to the village is also 200 metres away.
