Located in Lugon et L’Ile du Carney and surrounded by the estate vineyards AOC Bordeaux, Château de La Vieille Chapelle is a 12th-Century Roman Chapel offering a garden and terrace with a direct view on the Dordogne river. Free wine tasting of selected wines from the estate is offered every evening from 18:30. Wine tasting activities are also possible in Saint-Emilion, a 30-minute drive. All rooms are fitted out of the old chapel ruins with direct access to the garden and feature a heated tiled floor, a wardrobe, a large bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. They are decorated with a light Asian touch, in soft shades with linen curtains and sheets. One of the rooms is adjusted to welcome disabled people. A continental breakfast with homemade jam and French pastries is provided each morning. A sitting room with tea, coffee, kettle, wine glasses and wine tasting gear, as well as books on the area are at your disposal. Free Wi-Fi access is available and free private parking is possible on site. Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion, both inscribed on the World Heritage List are a 30-minute drive away. Restaurants can be found within 10 km from the property.

If we have the taste for contacts and meetings, we are also winemakers engaged in a viticulture that makes sense, Organic and Bio-dynamically. We settled in 2006 after a long stay in Asia. A magical place that seduced us, by its environment (the Dordogne), the architecture (the Chapel) and the quality of the terroir (for the quality of the wines).

A continental breakfast including homemade jams and pastries is served every morning. There is a lounge area with tea and coffee making facilities, wine glasses and wine tasting facilities, as well as books about the area. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available on site. The UNESCO-listed cities of Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion are a 30-minute drive away. Restaurants can be found within 10 km of the property. Warning: There is no TV's in the rooms!
