I live next door to the cottage although I do not interfere with the guest but am available if there are any issues.
I do have a dog but he will not interfere with the guests. Also I have 3 cats but they do roam around the garden.
The cottage is about 2km from Glomel. There is a lake in Glomel which has a beach area and during the season has a hut selling drink and some snacks.
It is also possible to walk around the lake through the woods and pathways around the lake.
Fishing is allowed at the lake but a permit must be obtained which can be obtained from Rostrenen which is 8km from the cottage.
Nearby is also the Brest to Nantes canal where you can walk or cycle.
The cottage is also about 15 minutes drive from Carhaix where there are shops and more activities.
