Nestled in the heart of Cognac country, Domaine Maze Churchill invites guests to stay in a traditional Charentais family home set within a working vineyard. Surrounded by Roman-tiled outbuildings and offering sweeping views over the Borderies cru — one of France’s most beautiful vineyard landscapes — the property offers a peaceful and authentic escape. Guests stay in part of our family’s historic domaine, which blends traditional comfort with artistic character. Each spacious room is individually decorated and includes a private bathroom (with bath and bidet), a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. All rooms enjoy fine views of the gardens and vines, and include free WiFi, towels, and linens. Each morning, we serve a generous breakfast — often featuring produce from the estate when in season.

Guests are welcome to relax in our large flower-filled garden, where lavender, honeysuckle, and old roses thrive in the mild maritime climate - while the surrounding vineyard landscape is perfect for picnics or bicycle rides. The medieval Abbaye aux Dames is less than five-minutes by car, while Cognac’s world-famous distilleries and the Romanesque sites of Saintes (18 km) are a short drive away. La Rochelle – Île de Ré Airport is a 1-hour drive, and Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is around 1.5 hours away.
