## The space The accommodation consists of a large living room with TV and convertible sofa for 2 people, a large equipped kitchen (fridge, hotplates, microwave, coffee maker, kettle), a bathroom with integrated WC and a mezzanine bedroom area with double bed and storage space. The apartment is equipped with all the basic necessities (sheets, towels, dishes and kitchen utensils). The building has an old charm, the sound insulation is therefore fine, the bedroom area is located on the mezzanine and the ceiling is low (138 cm), the staircase to access it is narrow, you have to be careful.

## The neighborhood Barbizon is a village of character classified among the most beautiful villages in France. It is the cradle of art in the 19th century, notably with the presence of Jean-François Millet, Camille Corot and even later Monet. Today the Barbizon Painters Museum is famous for its beautiful collection of paintings, you also have the workshop of Jean-François Millet in the heart of the main street of Barbizon. Just a stone's throw away, you have access to the immense Barbizon forest with its very large rocks known for climbing. In particular the Apremont gorges, an exceptional place which is only a 30-minute walk from our apartment. Climbing or hiking everything is possible! In addition to the natural heritage, you have access to the historical heritage of the region with the Château de Fontainebleau, the Château de Brandy les Tours, the Château de Vaux le Vicomte…
