A relaxing retreat, set in beautiful and tranquil grounds, nestled in idyllic countryside. Complete with a heated pool and stunning panoramic views, this large, traditional, french farmhouse is the perfect place to escape, recharge and unwind. With local amenities close by, as well as the many places of interest to explore in the Charente region, this is a perfect holiday stay. We are family and pet friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay at Le Cluzeau Retreat.
The quiet and peaceful village of Blanzac Porcheresse is conveniently within walking distance of Le Cluzeau Retreat and is situated on the River Ne. It boasts many amenities including a petrol station, post office, bank, supermarket, tabac, pharmacy, church, restaurant, boulangerie and bar. The surrounding landscape consists of rural farmland with rolling hills and fields alternating between vineyards, wheat, corn and sunflowers. The local village of Blanzac Porcheresse is within driving/ walking distance and there are plenty of parking spaces available. Limoges and Bergerac airports are nearby and local buses and trains can take you to many places of interest in the Charente. Top places to explore include Angouleme, Chateauneuf, Cognac, Aubeterre Sur Drone, Blaye, Bordeaux.
