Furnished lodging classified 3 stars (ADT 82). Ideal for a family (1 couple and 3 children). And even a baby and more thanks to the cot available. Holiday checks accepted. House with frame and new wood cladding, on a plot of 1000m ² away from the road by a private road. Beautiful view of the Garonne Valley. We see the Garonne from the garden. A terrace of 33m ², partly protected from the sun by a pergola, overhangs the ground and in particular a bowling ground for beautiful parts of petanque (solar lighting). Close to the village which has all the shops: bakery, grocery, tobacco / newspaper, 5 restaurants, hairdresser, beauty institute, car garage, soap shop made in Auvillar, art galleries, the Post with ATM, pharmacy, nurses, doctor. Auvillar is one of the most beautiful villages in France of the Tarn et Garonne and is an important stop for pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostela. The beds are made and the sheets and linens are offered. A cleaning fee will be charged in addition to the rental to be paid on site+journey tax (50c/pers/night). Auvillar is near Valence d'Agen, not Valence in Drome (near Lyon)
Isabelle and Francis live right next to the cottage and will be available for you. A rental contract will be signed upon your arrival at the gîte.
Auvillar, one of the most beautiful villages in France, on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostela, between Agen and Montauban, is an ideal stopover to visit the region. You will also be close to the Lot department with its many must-see tourist attractions, and the Gers to the south. The visit of Auvillar will allow you to admire its circular hall, its old and magnificent church, the Clock Tower, its narrow streets with its old half-timbered houses. At the bottom of the Place de la Halle, the Community Tourism Office will welcome you in its new building, completely restored, formerly a convent, and will communicate all the useful information to visit the surroundings. Auvillar has all the useful shops: grocery / tobacco / newspaper, bakery, restaurants, bar, breweries. And also a beauty institute, foot reflexology cabinet, hair salon, a soap factory and several art galleries. Health side, a doctor, a pharmacy, a dental office, nurses.
