La Caze Gites are two holiday homes, one with 3 bedrooms and one with 2 bedrooms, converted from a 19th century Aveyronnaise barn, retaining lots of character features but fully equipped for a comfortable 21st century holiday. The stunning view of the Tarn Valley and all the way south to the Monts Lacaune has to be seen to be believed! The large swimming pool and poolside terrace, and the Gites' terraces all benefit from this view. It is a perfect spot to relax and recharge, but with river and lake swimming, kayaking, cycling, walking, riding and other outdoor activities nearby it's also ideal for a more active holiday. Each gite is fully equipped for a self catering holiday for both families and couples. We provide all towels, including pool/beach towels and beds have luxury microfibre toppers and Egyptian cotton bedding. Each gite has a private fully furnished south facing terrace with barbecue. In addition to the large pool, guests can enjoy the gardens, also with barbecue, a games room with table tennis, other outdoor games, a pétanque court with boules and bikes.

After careers in local government and the marketing and hospitality industries in London and the south east of England, we decided on a complete change of lifestyle and moved to France in early 2016. We now get to indulge our passions for food, wine and the outdoors, whilst sharing our little bit of paradise with our guests.

The Tarn Valley is breathtakingly beautiful and remains totally unspoilt with lots of things to see and do. We are located between the river and the Lacs de Levezou and surrounded by stunning countryside and pretty towns and villages. The only occasional traffic jams are caused by the brebis sheep on their way to milking! This is Roquefort country. The pretty local village of Broquies, 3km from La Caze, has all amenities, including a boulangerie, mini market and wine domaine. In summer there is a small outdoor market and various fetes and village meals. Kayaking on the Tarn is available a few minutes from La Caze and other water sports and a 10km lakeside running/walking/cycle path can be found at Lac de Villefranche de Panat only 12 minutes away. The beautiful village of Brousse Le Chateau, one of "les plus beaux villages" of France with its fabulous chateau and excellent restaurant is 10 minutes away. Within an hour are the interesting and laid back cities of Albi, Rodez and Millau, with great shopping and museums, and of course the amazing Millau Viaduct with its great Visitors' Centre. In summer there are fabulous night markets, jazz festivals and firework displays.
