Welcome to our beautifully restored farmhouse and former cognac distillery, converted to a b & b nestled in the vineyards in the heart of the scenic Charente region in South West France. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and timeless countryside, our b & b offers a peaceful and character filled retreat with modern comforts and rustic elegance.
Our property features 3 spacious double rooms, a family room for 4, each tastefully decorated and designed to reflect the buildings historic charm whilst offering all the comforts of home. In addition, we offer, a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom self-contained apartments, both with their own private garden - perfect for guests seeking extra privacy or a longer stay. The rooms are equipped with a kettle and a private shower, while the apartments will in addition provide you with a fully equipped kitchen. Every unit comes with bed linen and towels.
Relax by the outdoor pool, unwind in our tranquil gardens filled with roses and olive trees or enjoy a drink at the onsite bar where you can sample local wines and of course cognac. Located just a short drive from Jarnac and Cognac, our b & b is ideally situated for exploring the region’s rich history, charming towns and delicious local cuisine. There are 3 golf courses nearby, Cognac, Hirondelle and Saintes. Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport is 114 km from the property and Jarnac station is 10 minutes away.
