The house is located in an authentic mountain village. It was built in 1989 and renovated in 2017. It consists of 3 levels: ground floor (open living/dining area and kitchen + toilet), 1st floor (a large bedroom, a bathroom, an additional toilet, space for a washing machine), 2nd floor (2 small bedrooms: 1 with a large bed, 1 with 2 mattresses on the floor). The house is situated right in the center of the village. In spring and summer, a lovely terrace can also be used. No Wi-Fi, but there is a village hotspot. The fireplace must not be used!!! Non-smoking!! NO Animals!! There's no food and no spices in the house! And no towels! To access the floors, the house has a steep spiral staircase: not suitable for physically impaired individuals and not suitable for small children!!!!! Isola is a beautiful, peaceful mountain village, located 70 km from Nice (easily accessible via a very well-maintained road). The village is situated in the Mercantour National Park, offering great hiking opportunities in the summer and a winter paradise for skiing! Near Isola Village, you'll find the expansive ski resort Isola 2000 (there's even a free shuttle bus from the village to the ski area) and also the Auron ski resort. If you love mountains, this is the place to be! In the village itself, you'll find a small grocery store, a café-restaurant, a bakery, and a large Aquacenter, Aquavallée, with a pool, slide, sauna, steam room, and more (check their website for details).
