Welcome to la Maison d'Auguste! The house, rated 4*, is ideally situated between the beaches of La Rochelle, Ile de Ré and Vendée at the north, and at the south the beaches of Chatelaillon and Royan! Saint Xandre is a peaceful traditional village with all modern services. You only need a 5 mn walk to reach the baker’s, the butcher’s and the newsagent’s. There are also restaurants, a chemist and a flower shop… Everything you need to spend a nice holiday. A little supermarket will provide all the stuff you won’t find in the city centre. The very heart of La Rochelle and its Vieux Port are only 10mn far by car. What a pleasure to go shopping under the famous arcades or discover the heavy historical past of the town! The house is situated on a peaceful street next to a pedestrian walk going to the village centre and to the sports area.
We would like to share our love for this family house. Saint Xandre is the ideal place for peaceful but connected to the world holidays!
You can find all you need in the village in a 10mn walk but you also have a giant shopping center 5mn far by car. Of course, nice and varied beaches (sand, cliffs, rocks...) at a very reasonable distance and even 2 famous theme parks (Futuroscope and le Puy du Fou) and more (zoo de la Palmyre...) for day trips!
