La Maison du Hérisson is a recently refurbished, 4 bedroom apartment in Samoëns that comfortably sleeps 8. Featuring personal touches throughout such as antique furniture, comfy throws and retro skis on the wall, the apartment feels like a home away from home. The large, open plan kitchen/dining/living area offers a fantastic space to relax and socialise in comfort. The modern kitchen is fitted with all mod cons, including induction hob, fan oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, fondue set and raclette grill. In the dining area, the hand crafted wooden dining table offers the perfect place to catch up after a great day exploring the mountains, whilst the living room provides a cosy place to unwind. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, both en-suite, and 2 twin rooms with a shared bathroom. Each bathroom is fitted with a walk-in waterfall shower. The apartment is also fitted with underfloor heating throughout. There is also a utility room with washer and dryer. Bed linen and towels are also provided. There is also a selection of books, DVDs and board games to keep you entertained. The apartment is baby friendly with a high chair, travel cot (without linen) and baby bath.

We are a couple living in London, but who fell in love with Samoens and the surrounding area. Isabelle is half French/half German, and Patrick is English. We love spending time in the mountains, whether it be in spring, summer, autumn or winter. We very much hope that our apartment provides a cosy and comfortable space from which you can similarly enjoy the area! The apartment will be all yours during your stay. However, we will be available to answer questions you have both in the lead-up and during your stay.

The apartment is located in Samoëns, on the edge of Les Vallons and only 10 minutes' walk from Samoëns centre. Samoëns is a lovely French alpine town located less than 1 hour from Geneva and at the foot of the famous Criou. The town has received awards for being one of the prettiest villages in France and, situated within a protected area, is unspoiled by tourism. The town is full of character, charm and beautiful architecture whilst also acting as a gateway to the Grand Massif ski area - the fourth largest ski area in France with 265 km of piste. But the region is not just a winter destination. The warmer months bring access to fantastic hiking, cycling, white water rafting, parapenting and other summer activities. The apartment is opposite the ski bus stop (50 metres) and within walking distance of Samoëns centre. The property also comes with access to private, covered parking and private ski/bike storage.
