La Petite Houssaye used to be a Cider & Dairy farm before it was abandoned. We bought the farmhouse in June 2017 and we are in the process of renovating it and restoring it ourselves. You will see that some of the stone doorways in the courtyard are round. This was so that the large cider barrels could be moved in and out of the buildings. Much of the original cider making equipment has is still in the outbuildings, including the barrels, but making cider is a project which is some time away! In the meantime, we are working to retain some of the original features of the rooms to keep the character, whilst making the rooms smart, modern and comfortable for our guests. We provide all our guests with French / English TV, high speed internet, lots of on site parking and room service. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable whilst you are with us, please don't hesitate to ask.

We are at the end of a track in a very quiet location. You may hear the owls at night but you will definitely see and hear the birds in the morning when you open the door. Whilst we are only 10 minutes drive to Saint-Lo where there are lots of restaurants and bars, La Petite Houssaye is a great place to relax and unwind.
