This lovingly restored fisherman's cottage is perfect for that romantic getaway or a great base for a family holiday in the sun.
The house is perfectly located for a two-minute walk to the picturesque marina, which has many wonderful restaurants and unique boutiques. Also within a stone's throw is the Town Square with a beautiful church, an authentic selection of restaurants and a variety of boulangeries, patisseries, cafes and the famous "Noilly Prat" distillery, not to be missed!
The house benefits from a spacious and light open plan lounge & dining area, a fully fitted kitchen and also a downstairs cloakroom.
Note about the stairs:
There are steep stairs up to the first floor. Compared to other houses in Marseillan these are very good being level, flat and with a hand rail but some people might find them steep, please see that photo.
The first floor has a master bedroom with a king-size bed, with original tiled flooring throughout and a delightful balcony. The second bedroom, which is accessed via the first bedroom, has two French wrought iron day beds with a picture window offering lovely views across the rooftops and a wonderful vaulted beamed ceiling.
Note about the bathroom:
We have a room top bath meaning you will have to step into it to either use the bath or the shower. For some people this may be unsuitable. please see photo.
The bathroom has a roll-top bath with a matching suite.
With windows front and back you will find a lovely breeze keeps you cool in the summer, but still warm cosy in the winter. It can now be accessed directly from the master bedroom and also from a recently added doorway into the second bedroom.
There is a futon downstairs if 6 guests are staying. That benefits from having its own toilet on the ground floor.

When I left school, I decided I wanted to be a photographer, and happy to say I have now been a commercial and advertising photographer for the last 30 + years.
I will not be there when you check in, but on hand will be Manuela. She knows the village and area very well, so any questions you have, she will be able to answer
