This is a beautiful old "maison de maître" (master's house) in a very quiet and peaceful village in the Minervois wine region. There is a gorgeous garden and pool for relaxing. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with vintage furniture but have all modern comforts. The house has many of the original features from when it was built in 1880, marble staircase, chimneys, tiles.
I travelled widely for my previous job. I have lived and worked in Italy, France and the UK. I love helping people discover the history, food and wine of this lovely area.
This is an authentic wine village, surrounded by vineyards. There are lots of interesting and innovative wine makers and I am happy to advise you on places to go for tastings. There is a fun village bistro with great ambiance and great restaurants in the surrounding pretty villages. For history lovers we are a short hop from the Abbey at Caunes Minervois, Minerve, and of course, the Cité at Carcassonne.
