It is housed in an old traditional farmhouse with mountain architecture, offering a particularly pleasant environment. All essential shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and a local market are nearby. Activities: Numerous mountain and outdoor activities: hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, downhill and cross-country skiing, paragliding, white water sports, etc. Within a few kilometers, you'll also find: Nearby ski resorts: Saint Anne la Condamine, Sauze/Super Sauze, Pra-Loup, Vars. Visit La Condamine-Châtelard: Sainte-Anne ski resort and Forts de Tournoux Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye: 2 museums, a café-library, bakery, grocery store, restaurant and local artisans. Jausiers (16 km): landscaped lake. Val d'Oronaye: cross-country skiing, access to Mercantour National Park, Saint-Ours forts (visits), gateway to Italy. Barcelonnette (25 km): swimming pool, cinema, museum, shops. Guillestre: Mont-Dauphin fort (UNESCO listed), access to Queyras regional park. 7 passes around the apartment in the valley, including Europe's highest road pass. Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the private parking lot (3 vehicles). For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful: Access by train to Mont-Dauphin station, or by bus to Barcelonnette.
