Welcome to Le Mas des Cyprès up in the hills about 10 mins from Cahors in the south of the Lot, south west France.
Two holiday rental gites in 2.5 acre hilltop gardens with a pool and terrace, a children's play area and numerous quiet areas in which to relax with a good book.
We are within easy reach of many vineyards, activities and places to visit such as St Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Albi or a med beach. Easy access via many airports served by low-cost airlines or A20 motorway.
Each rental property has two bedrooms, its own terrace with BBQ, a well-equipped kitchen to ensure a comfortable stay, heating and a fireplace for colder months and fans for the summer. 
From summer 2022, foc fibre has been available in many areas.
We only welcome dogs - no other animals are accepted

Virginia, Paul and Maddy enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Since we started our rentals, nearly 20 years ago,many guests have become friends as they return time and time again.
We love the Lot with its sunny weather and relaxed way of life where we are spoilt with food, wine and things to see and do.
A favourite day trip is to Gruissan Plage - a beach on the med.
Carcassonne is about 2h and Toulouse about 1h20mins.
Barcelona, about 4 hours drive, is also a lovely trip.

In the quiet of the hills yet within easy reach of Cahors with its popular market, medieval centre, many restaurants and shops and UNESCO-listed Valentré Bridge. St Cirq Lapopie et Rocamadour (two of France's prettiest villages) are a short drive away.
There are numerous vineyards to visit and children will love canoeing along the Célé river, doing circuits and aerial runways high in the trees at Cap Nature or visiting one of the many water parks such as Quercyland. 
The Pech Merle cave with its prehistoric drawings is a must visit, the Gouffre de Padirac is popular with its underground boat rides or why not take a meandering boat ride along the Lot river. Motor boats can be hired for the day or half-day.
You can take a vineyard tour and taste some of the local Cahors 'black' wine or take a daytrip to the Dordogne, Toulouse, Carcassonne or visit the famous Millau Bridge. 
There are numerous historic bastides to visit and enjoy lunch and children are spoilt for choice with the parks available to them: Monkey Park where you can feed the barbarys, Dinosaur Park, Reptileland, aquariums, castles, mazes, doing circuits in the trees.....
