La Moulin De La Porte is a beautifully renovated 19th century property set in the grounds of a 12th century Abbey “Abbaye Blanc” in the quaint village of Le Neufbourg 50140 in the Manche region of Normandy. Les, Denise, Mark and Louise are pleased to welcome you to Le Moulin De La Porte. This is a joint venture family business (father, son and respective wives) and we are very much looking forward to welcoming guests from all corners of the world, as there is something for everyone in this area. ​Our story started in July 2017 when we all made a trip to France to get a feel for what you could buy and what potential opportunities might be available to us for a small rental business. Much like the TV program Home and Away, we set up a number of viewings in the area we had chosen to search due to the great connections to the South of England, where the Stallard family is from. ​What we found was this fabulous property which we all fell in love with at first sight. We made an offer which was accepted and from there our dream became a reality.

The surrounding grounds and local area are steapt in history including the famous battle of Mortain and soldiers right in the Avenue outside. The local village has a Tabac, and L'Abbaye Hotel, with its amazing food, is just a few steps away from our front doors. In the local town of Mortain there are plenty of shops, boulangerie, restaurants and bars. Further afield (about an hours drive) is the famous Mont Saint Michel and there is plenty of opportunity for fishing, cycling and golfing available in the near vicinity.
