Le Moulin de Pensol used to be a water mill and is situated on the beautiful river Bandiat, in the middle of the Parc Naturel Regionale in Haute Vienne. We are 45 minutes from Limoges. We have 4 cottages (gites) and 3 B&B rooms. The kitchen/living rooms are downstairs with the bedrooms on the first floor. Each cottage has an outdoor area with furniture and BBQ facilities. Sheets, towels and a hair dryer are provided. We have 7 hectares of gardens, meadows and woods for you to explore and enjoy. The wifi is good and is available across the site. Dogs are welcome at a small extra charge and by arrangement (in the gites only please.)

We live opposite the gite building in the main mill house. You can have as much or as little to do with us as you like! We offer breakfast and evening meals by request with a little notice. Vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters all welcome. We are English, but also speak French and some German. We moved to France to live a simpler life closer to nature and so we could have animals. We currently share the mill with 3 horses, 4 donkeys, a mule, 6 hens and a pig. We are all looking forward to meeting you!

There are lots of things to do and see in the local area including walking, horseriding, markets, medieval towns, caves, restaurants and medieval villages. The nearest shop for bread etc is a 5 minute drive away or a 15 minute cycle ride. There are many good supermarkets within 20 minutes of your accommodation. Nature is the star of the show here. We are in the middle of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord Limousin with its chestnut woods and miles of walking trails. You might see red squirrels, golden orioles, fire salamanders, orchids, lizards and one of our 64 species of butterflies during your stay with us.
