Our aim is for Le Patio to be your home from home.
We both worked in the Public Sector in Aberdeen, Scotland until we decided to embark on a long held dream 'To run a Chambers d'Hotes in France'.
In September 2014, whilst on a driving holiday in France, we found 'Le Patio', a beautifully restored period house in the centre of La Tour Blanche in the Dordogne and fell in love with it.
We moved into 'Le Patio' in 2015 and started our new life and business.
Paul is Scottish and Nicky is Welsh. We both love to cook and have taken courses at the Nick Nairn Cook School in Aberdeen. We have now been living in France for over 5 years, the best part of our job is meeting people from all over the world and what has surprised us is how many of our guests have returned. We feel blessed to have received such wonderful guest reviews.
