'Le Séchoir' is a beautiful oak framed building constructed in 2021/2022 and modelled on the traditional walnut drying shed which occupied the site previously. It has been tastefully renovated to include a kitchen/lounge/diner, a separate double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, WC and basin. Le Séchoir sits across and slightly elevated from the other two gites and has its own private terrace but shared use of the natural pool.

We have successfully run two gites for two years and are always seeking ways to improve. We are hoping that the addition of a third gite for two people will cater for those who are travelling both in and out of season and who require more compact accommodation than is currently available.

Beaulieu-Sur-Dordogne is a very picturesque village 1km from the property so within easy walking distance of boulangeries, tabacs, bars and restaurants. The Dordogne river runs through the village which provides opportunities for canoeing, swimming and fishing. There are numerous walks around this area with stunning views and a network of cycle routes can also be enjoyed. Four of Frances 'beaux villages' are within a 45 minute drive of Beaulieu including the famous Rocamadour and the stunning Gouffre de Padirac are also on our doorstep.
