Built in the early 1800s by one of Napoleon's Generals, this Maison de Maître has been the principal residence within the bastide, as can be seen by the building's original features. The kitchen is fully equipped with a breakfast table, two fridge freezers, a 6 burner gas range with a double electric oven, dishwasher and all modern amenities. The house is a perfect place to relax with two sitting rooms, one for children and the other for adults, and offers two televisions as well as fibre internet access. Upstairs on the first floor, there are four double bedrooms; two ensuite doubles and two twins. Two of the rooms have south facing views of the Pyrenees. On the top floor you will find a double bedroom with views over the garden and its own bathroom. The laundry room has a tumble dryer and a washing machine. Gardens: Rare and unusual plants have been sourced to provide a haven within the backdrop of the bicentennial cedar trees. There is a small orchard and plenty of shady areas for relaxation, evening drinks and comfortable dining. An original lean-to barn has been adapted to provide an informal space for eating, games etc. The back courtyard can comfortably fit three cars.
We can take bookings of no less than 3 nights outside school holidays and high season and of a minimum of 7 nights during school holidays and the high season.

With one owner working in the renewable energies sector and the other studying towards qualifications in interior decorations and garden design, the Gers offered a perfect haven from their busy lives.
