We offer a swimming pool and a hot tub, which are shared between the 2 cottages we have on our domain. Maison Le Garochet’s gardens cover 4 hectares with views on the Loire and Arroux valleys. The privacy and tranquility of guests are paramount. Numerous areas of peace and quiet have been created throughout the estate. During the renovation of the 2 gîtes, great attention was paid to preserving authentic features combined with contemporary comfort. The highest point on the estate is 250m above sea level, the lowest 200m. A stream crosses the estate from northwest to southeast over a distance of about 400m. The estate is dotted with mature trees and large shrubs. The spring flowering, summer beauty and autumn splendour are breathtaking.
We live next door to the 2 cottages and we are usually at your disposal during your stay. We appreciate very much your privacy. The pool area, the gardens and the parking area (place for 3/4 cars) around the 2 cottages are your private area (shared by the 2 cottages). The rest of the 4 hectares of gardens and land is shared with us, so we will have the opportunity to meet us if you would like so. In any case, you can always contact us for advice on activities, for ideas for walking or biking tours, for regional products and restaurants or for any other questions you may have. We will be happy to help. We also offer the possibility of ordering breakfasts, and buying local or homemade products in our small grocery store.
The neighborhood is ideal for walks and biking. All shops and facilities are less than 3 km away. Numerous restaurants and markets for local products. Digoin offers an old little center along the Loire river, and of course some tourist attractions like Pont-Canal, Voie Verte (biking trails), Observaloire, canal navigation by boat, roman churches, ceramics museum... Take a stroll and enjoy!
