A light and airy double room and a twin room with private bathroom in a maison de maître built before the French Revolution, right in the heart of a quiet village in the beautiful Charente countryside. Only 3km from the town of Chalais, halfway between Cognac and Bordeaux.
There are lots of lovely walks round about the village, which has a bar/restaurant and there is a terrific restaurant in the next village (Bardenac) as well as several in Chalais. We're also only twenty minutes away from Aubeterre-Sur-Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
