NormanD Holiday Home is light, bright and spacious, it is the perfect location for your relaxed vacation in the rural French countryside. Attached to our home, our gite was converted in 2016 from the original animal barn that had been constructed around 150 years before. Recently refurbished to a high standard, we provide everything you could want to really enjoy rural France. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided, we can provide evening meals, BBQs and picnics on request. We only provide bedding for the sofa bed when occupancy is for more than two guests. If you require the sofa bed for two person occupancy please message in advance. We ask guests to use the allocated covered parking space and not to drive on the grass.

Set in small village 1km from main route between Caen and Vire, 9km from Vire. AJ Hackett SkyPark Viaduct de la Souleuvre (family fun park with bungee jumping, aerial walkways and other attractions and restaurant) 4km away. Jurques Zoo is 12km away. Normandy Landing Beaches 50km away. Vire town with swimming pools, outdoor children's play areas, skate park, BMX track, Hippodrome, restaurants, cafes, supermarket and local shops, 9km away. Caen/Ouistreham Ferry 50 minutes away. Cherbourg/St. Malo Ferry 90 minutes away. Paris 2.5 hours direct by train from Vire. Areas for rock climbing, via ferata, zip line and river kayaking with 45 minutes (Clecy for example). Your own transport is essential, there is a very infrequent bus service on the main road past the village into Vire and Caen. There is a bar, two bakers, two hairdressing salons, a butcher, a pharmacy and a small convenience store in a small village 3km away. There is mainline train station in Vire that offers direct routes into Paris, Granville coast and towards the south of France.
