Caroline is a beautiful 26m long traditional dutch barge moored in a stunning and tranquil setting on the Canal du Midi. She has 3 air conditioned rooms each with private bathroom. Guests also benefit from the use of an air conditioned lounge. There is a large sun terrace on which to relax. Wi-fi is available in communal areas (living room and terrace), not in the cabins.
Before opening Caroline, we ran a restaurant in Brittany for 10 years, so we can serve a 3 course meal served on the terrace, overlooking the Canal du Midi. Contact us for details of the menu and price.
Caroline is situated in a beautiful and tranquil part of the Languedoc. To get to Caroline, you will drive amongst the vines, or cycle along the tow path. To find us on your GPS, search for the restaurant next door to us 'Le Pourquoi Pas' or 'Peniche Caroline' on Google maps.
