You are welcome, with or without your horses, at La Casetta Rita, an authentic gypsy-style caravan set in a peaceful, rural setting in the heart of horse paddocks on a 7-hectare property surrounded by countryside. La Casetta Rita is painted in the colors of Italy on the outside and decorated in a chic bohemian style inside. It is ideal for a romantic getaway for two. It includes a double bed, a comfortable sitting area, a bathroom with shower, and a small balcony to enjoy outdoor breakfasts. Inside, you will find a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, and a toaster for your morning meals. In the small cabin next to the caravan, a fully equipped kitchenette is at your disposal, with an induction hob, cooking utensils, a sink, and separate toilets. A private gas barbecue is also available. You will have access to the shared pool and spa. We are located in a quiet hamlet between Surgères and La Rochelle. Enjoy the peace and charm of the countryside without feeling isolated: the sea is 20 km away (Châtelaillon-Plage). Many excursions are possible: La Rochelle (boat trips to Île d’Aix and visits to Fort Boyard), Rochefort-sur-Mer (architecture, royal rope factory, museum, transporter bridge), Île Madame, accessible by foot or car from Port-des-Barques, Île d’Oléron, Île de Ré, Le Marais Poitevin, ideal for cycling or boating along its shaded canals, and many other beautiful places to discover.
