I'm French and have lived in the UK for over 30 years. I have bought this apartment in Seyne so that I could come back to France more often. After a career break and 6 months spent renovating the flat, I am hoping to enjoy the area regularly. My family who lives a few hours away will also come and visit. I have chosen Seyne for its location in mid-altitude mountains (allowing hiking of all abilities), proximity to my family, nearby sporting activities (I ride mountain-bikes and snowboard) and especially for being a small town with permanent inhabitants (see 'Neighbourhood' section). The view of the mountains from the windows and balcony (see main picture) clinched the deal!

The flat is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Seyne and its amenities - bakery, twice-weekly market, a few bars/restaurants, visitors centre, bike hire, chemists, etc. and a supermarket 1km away), A communal playground and pool are located 600 yards away down a pleasant pedestrian lane. The surroundings are packed with hiking, cycling (road and off-road) and running opportunities and there are 2 winter sport resorts nearby (Montclar-les-deux-Vallees and Chabanon). The local community has a busy schedule of activities and there are working/pet farms, museums, geological features, etc. to visit.
