A small, independent and functional flat located on the garden level of our house in Lanildut, right by the Iroise Sea. You’ll have your own private entrance through the garden, a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. It’s not a luxury accommodation, but it’s perfect for travellers looking for a simple and practical place to enjoy the seaside. The sea and the GR34 coastal path are just 30 metres away, at the end of the garden — ideal for hiking, exploring the coastline, or taking a boat trip to the islands of Ouessant and Molène. 👉 Please note: the ceiling is quite low, so it’s good to be aware before booking 🙂
My name is Yann, and I live in Lanildut, right by the Iroise Sea. I’m an underwater filmmaker, passionate about the ocean and the wild beauty of Brittany. I also speak Breton, the local Celtic language, and I love sharing this unique region with those who come to discover it. Together with my partner Lisa, we’ve directed several documentary films for France 3 Bretagne, exploring the underwater world and the people who live close to the sea. Our work has also taken us to Australia and other parts of the world, where we’ve filmed marine life and ocean stories that inspire us every day. When I’m not filming underwater or out at sea, I enjoy meeting travellers and helping them experience the best of this special corner of Brittany.
The house is located in Lanildut, on the shores of the Iroise Sea, in a peaceful and authentic setting. Between the harbour, the islands of Ouessant and Molène, and the GR34 coastal path, it’s an ideal starting point to discover a wild and unspoiled part of Brittany. The village lives to the rhythm of the sea and the tides, with a charming harbour atmosphere. You’ll find a few seaside restaurants and bars, perfect for enjoying fresh seafood or a drink while watching the sunset.
