Sleeps 20. Saint-Marthe is a beautiful 300 year old building, set with rolling hills all around and only the sound of birdsong. What makes this property unique is that it’s only a 25 min walk down a quiet farm lane, into the bustling Bastide town of Eymet. The property has 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The accommodation comprises of the main Farmhouse (5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms) and 3 separate gites. There is a studio, a 1-bedroom, and a 2-bedroom gite. All properties are set around a private heated Romanesque pool. Eymet is a fabulous little historical town. The beautiful square buzzes with great restaurants and bars to explore. Eymet has fun markets during the day, and lively night food markets on some evenings. Locally there is kayaking on the Dordogne River for various standards, horse riding stables and tennis courts close by and a useful bicycle hire shop. Of course, last but not least, there are some incredible local vineyards to visit. Details of these activities will be in your welcome pack. The house is a 6 min drive from Lauzun, another pretty Bastide town with its own night food market to enjoy and fabulous restaurants. The area is spilling over with wonderful places to discover. There are grapes, figs, apples, walnuts and pomegranates growing in the garden. Please feel free to pick these for your breakfast. Our lovely house manager Tricia can meet you in person if needed.
