Forest Views is situated 5.3 miles from the market town of Cockermouth and is 7.7 miles from Bassenthwaite lake which is the fourth largest lake in the region. Next door to Forest Views is Moota Plant Centre and Nursery which also hosts a coffee shop which serves home cooked food from local suppliers. Forest Views offers spectacular rural views across the open countryside towards Skiddaw. It is an ideal location for visiting Western Lake District and Scottish Borders. There is a beach at Allonby which stretches for 5 miles, made up of sand shingle and pebbles along the high tide mark. At low tide a vast expanse of sand is revealed. Allonby beach is 9.2 miles away. We allow 2 small dogs. There is parking for 2 vehicles on the right of the home.

Jon and I have moved to the area from Worcestershire. We moved here for a quieter way of life and bought 19 Forest Views as a holiday let. I enjoy running and love putting my earphones in and going for a run, I never get tired of the scenery. Jon is a keen shooter and enjoys fishing.
