40A Oak Village is a beautiful lodge situated on a quiet part of the Grange Leisure Park on the outskirts of Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire. This is our second year of trading and we have received a rating of 9.7/10 based on 23 guest reviews.
The lodge consists of 2 double bedrooms, dressing room, shower room, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining area. The lodge is surrounded by decking where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine and is accessed either by steps or a ramp. The gardens are well kept; there are two parking spaces at the side of the lodge and a nearby small car park for any additional visitors. There is a key safe on the side of the shed and the code will be sent to your mobile on the day of your arrival. Our Lodge is on the only part of the site that is allowed to stay open until 5th January so get booking now! Weekly and Monthly deals available too. Minimum booking is 3 nights with 2 days warning, although it’s worth checking with me if you need a last minute booking- we’ll do our best to accommodate you if we can.
Shirley lives locally and is usually available by phone to answer any questions you have. Shirley is a retired teacher who has 6 years previous experience as the host of a very successful Holiday Let in nearby Sutton on Sea which was sold in 2020. Shirley re married in July 2021 to long term partner Matthew who is a retired hotel worker. Shirley is looking forward to meeting clients old and new and can be contacted any time on her mobile phone- leave a voicemail or text on the odd occasion that she can't answer and she will get back to you asap.
40A Oak Village is situated on a quiet part of Grange Leisure Park which can be found 1.9 miles from Mablethorpe and is on a bus route for Mablethorpe,Skegness and Louth. On the Park there is a Spar Shop, cafe, restaurant/pub (Badgers Barn) which does a lovely Sunday Carvery, a Show Bar, ( has great acts and activities during peak periods) amusements, fishing lakes, Aqua Park and 9 hole golf course. Fishing and golf can be booked in Reception. Please note you must have an Anglian Water Fishing Licence as well as your daily ticket from Reception and you must have a landing net. Other information can be found on the photo of the Fishing Information Noticeboard. There are two Electric Vehicle Charging points situated behind the Badgers Barn subject to availability.There is also a laundrette and possibly a brand new gym from July 2025 onwards.
In nearby Mablethorpe are several good supermarkets, shops,restaurants and amusements.There is a paddling pool at Queens Park, also a lake where you can hire a boat or a swan pedalo, a putting green and miniature train. You can hire a beach chalet on the promenade here that overlooks the park. On the seafront behind the Dunes Theatre is a crazy golf course and a go cart track, also a funfair, doughnut and ice cream stalls,cafes and fish and chip shops galore. The beaches are all Blue Flag and in 2024 were among the top 3 beaches in the country with beautiful golden sand and promenade. The Loewen Cinema in Mablethorpe is very popular and several local takeaways deliver to the car park at the entrance to the Park.
The Lodge is only 7 miles from Alford which has a market on Tuesdays and Fridays.The Manor House is well worth a visit and Alford Windmill has a tea room. Lots of quirky shops to look in and Big Sky Alpacas in nearby Beesby village too. The famous Alford Craft Markets take place over Bank Holiday weekends.
Other nearby attractions include Farmer Brown’s Ice Cream Parlour and Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary at Huttoft.
