The Hourglass is situated in the Village of Sculthorpe a mile away from the market town of Fakenham. This village pub was transformed in 2007 into a contemporary open plan restaurant which opens daily for both lunch and dinner, offering traditional cuisine with the odd modern twist. The public areas are all on one level and there is ample parking for 25-30 cars.
We have a large varied menu of homemade dishes, which has some of the traditional old favourites such a Prawn Cocktail, BBQ spare Ribs and Scampi, plus an array of daily specials. The food is all cooked fresh and is served in good hearty portions, which are complemented by the mouth-watering homemade desserts and selection of Mȍvenpick Ice Creams and Sorbets.
On a Sunday Lunchtime we offer a 3 Course Lunch Menu with a choice of Roast Meats, and on a Monday and Tuesday there is a 2 Course Pensioners Lunch Menu available, both of which are very popular so it is always advisable to book.
