Charming cosy character cottage tastefully renovated and opened to our first guests in April 2018. Located within a 2 minute walk from the centre of Melbourne, a beautiful georgian market town with a fabulous selection of cafes, pubs, restaurants & shops. It has a fully equipped open plan kitchen, living room with log burner, 2 bedrooms (1 with a king size bed and 1 with a double bed) and a shower room (no bath). Outside there is a shared backyard and to the front of the property there is a shared picnic area. We provide a travel cot and high chair for young families, and free WIFI throughout the property.
I live in Melbourne myself (a few minutes down the road) with my husband, two young children and two dogs. We finished renovating our cottage in April last year and want people to come and enjoy it, and everything Melbourne and the local area has to offer. I am a stay at home Mum so I run and clean the cottage myself between school hours. So far we have had some lovely feedback from our guests, which really makes it that little bit more rewarding. I am happy to give recommendations on local places to eat/visit so please do not be afraid to ask.
The cottage is a 2 minute walk from the centre of Melbourne market place where there are independant shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a Sainsburys supermarket. The cottage is conveniently close to the East Midlands Airport (4 miles) and Donington Park Race Circuit (2 miles), and we are easily accessible from the M1 Jct 23a, the M42 and the A50.
