A spacious Holiday home in the historic market town of Llanrwst, in the Conwy valley. 8 Willow Street was built in approximately 1820 and is a deceptively spacious, charming and historic property, situated within the Llanrwst conservation area. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, a picnic area overlooking the River Conwy with views of Gwydir Forest, this is situated at our cafe premises (Yr Hen Danerdy) 100 metres from the property. Free allocated parking for two cars, or one minibus, again this is at our cafe car park. The property features a cozy ground floor lounge, a spacious comfortable first floor lounge, a well equipped modern kitchen, with induction hob, fan oven, microwave and refrigerator, the dining area is off the kitchen, It has 4 comfortable bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom), there is a family bathroom on the first floor. The house can sleep a maximum of 8 people but please be aware that all beds are doubles (one is a small double). The house does have sash windows which can be fully opened and fairly steep staircases, please be aware of this if you have small children or limited mobility.
We look forward to our guests enjoying the property and beautiful surrounding area, we particularly enjoy walks around the local lakes, rivers and forest. We own and run Yr Hen Danerdy (The Old Tannery) a licensed cafe adjacent to the holiday property, we are open Thursday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch.
Llanrwst is just outside of the Snowdonia National Park and is a lovely historic market town perfectly placed to explore the beautiful scenery of the immediate area along with a whole host of attractions that are all within a very short drive away. It is approximately 4 miles from Betwys Y Coed and 15 miles from Conwy, Llanberis and Llandudno. There are grocery shops, Butchers and a bakery in Llanrwst along with a Coop supermarket and several other small shops. There are several pubs, along with takeaway food options, cafes and restaurants. The lovely coastal towns of Llandudno and Conwy have several supermarkets and high street shops. Betwys Y Coed has great outdoor shops, cafes and restaurants.
