Church Mews, 9 Central Road, West Hoe is a 2-bedroomed townhouse situated in a quiet mews behind a Greek beautiful church. Purchased in August 2024 it has undergone a full refurbishment in the time since.
We stay away regularly ourselves, so understand the importance of location, comfort, warmth, peace & quiet, safety, parking and, of course, value for money!
There’s a newly fitted kitchen on the ground floor along with integrated dishwasher and washing machine (there's an airer, iron & ironing board should you use it!). The kitchen has a powder fire extinguisher and fire blanket. Smoke/Heat/Carbon Monoxide detectors are on all floors.
The first floor has had a refitted bathroom (with bath & shower) and two bedrooms remodelled and redecorated. The top floor has had the same with a completely revamped ensuite.
All bedrooms have flat screen smart TVs as well as the main smart TV in the living/dining area.
All beds and mattresses are new as is all flooring and soft furnishings.
There’s all the kitchen equipment you could need from pots and pans to a Nespresso machine. We also have a high-chair for infants.
The property has undergone full electrical, gas and fire inspections with associated certifications. Doors within the property are all certified fire doors.
Oh! And let's not forget the free on-site parking. Always a winner in any city! You can fit two cars at a squeeze but might have to slide out the passengers door! On street parking is available close by and there are EV charging stations about 150m away from the property on West Hoe Road.

West Hoe is one of the most desirable areas of Plymouth.
This unique 3-bedroom townhouse is situated only two-minute walk from the waterfront.
The property is only a 15-minute walk from the city centre and Theatre Royal and 5 minutes from Smeaton’s Lighthouse and the infamous Tinside Lido. The stunning stroll down to the Barbican is only 20 minutes along the coastal path.
If you’re planning a trip on the cross-channel ferry it’s a two minute drive away, so ideal for those early red-eye departures!
If you’re visiting Plymouth for the football Argyle's Home Park stadium is 40 minutes on foot or 25 minutes using bus from Western Approach.
There are two pubs within two minutes as well as a convenience store, pharmacy, café, restaurant, fish & chip shop, themed play park and a dive centre.
