The Garden Room is a great place to recharge your batteries or a base for couples and families to enjoy the delights of Southport.
The detached building at the rear of a family home has recently been refurbished and provides excellent facilities for guests. The Garden Room is five minutes drive from the pier, many attractions, delicious restaurants and parks. There is a bus stop around the corner and there is a rumour that the host has previously offered to drop people into town.
The room has a king size bed; sofa; dining space and TV. The mezzanine has two single beds , ideal for children 7+ or adults.
There is a shower room, kitchenette with mini hob, microwave, mini oven and undercounter fridge. There is a private patio area outside the rear door that is perfect for a relaxing drink or alfresco dining
We love hosting people and whilst we may not have many reviews, everyone that stays with us has an amazing time and tells us that they feel really blessed and refreshed
We live in the house next door (which used to be the Manor house) with our family so will be on hand if you have questions.
We can offer you tips on the best places to park near the attractions and also where is best to eat out or get a take away.
This is a nice part of Southport, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but close enough to enjoy the facilities.
There are bus stops very close by that can take you into the town centre and nearby towns and cities.
There is a very good garage five minutes walk away, which has an amazing butchers, delicatessen and bakery inside as well as a mini supermarket. There are also high quality local businesses nearby that offer chocolate experiences, a Gin Palace and local pubs just 5 minutes walk away.
The popular village of Churchtown is very close by that offers lots of bijou shops, restaurants and pubs as well as a very popular park (Botanic Gardens) full of animals and birds that you can visit.
The very popular Hesketh park is 10 minutes walk away and had lovely gardens, walks, a mini lake and lots of interesting features. This park is great for cycling around or playing football.
