East Rudham is a pretty Norfolk village situated a 20-minute drive from the North Norfolk coast. Village amenities include an excellent pub, The Crown, a tea room serving delicious cakes, an excellent butcher, and small village shop. Plenty of local walks and cycle routes traverse East Rudham.
The nearby market town of Fakenham hosts a busy market and auction on Thursdays. The town is home to some wonderful attractions. Fakenham Racecourse is one of the finest rural national hunt horse racecourses in the country attracting top rated horses and riders and, a couple of miles down the road, you will find the award-winning Pensthorpe Natural Park, home to Europe's finest collection of endangered and exotic water birds. There are miles of board walks through the reserve to explore, and hides for bird watchers to spot the local wildlife.
