Baileygate House: Your Historic Alnwick Retreat
Our beautifully restored 18th-century home dates back to 1769. Nestled on tranquil Bailiffgate, this charming natural stone home puts you right in the heart of historic Alnwick's medieval & Georgian quarter.
The Space: This comfortable historic home is ideal for four guests. It features: A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. A family room with one double bed & one single bed. A snug bedroom, which is small and best suited for one child or a petite adult - tiny!
Please note: The property has two upstairs bathrooms but no downstairs toilet. Due to the home's historic nature, there are a few steps from the street to the front door.

A five-minute stroll to the west takes you to the magnificent Alnwick Castle and the bustling town marketplace. Head east, and you'll find yourself minutes from the ruins of Alnwick Abbey and the breathtaking landscapes of Hulne Park, a stunning parkland designed by Capability Brown. Meet Your Hosts, Iona & Michael
Welcome! We are Fiona and Michael, and we're delighted to share our beautiful home with you. We split our time between Alnwick and the charming village of Arisaig, nestled on Scotland's dramatic west coast.
The beauty of these two places is the contrast they offer. While we love the historic elegance and vibrant life of Alnwick, we also cherish the rugged, coastal tranquility of Arisaig. Because we own a second holiday apartment there, we're always available to offer local recommendations and ensure your stay is unforgettable, whether you choose a historic townhouse or a remote coastal retreat.
We look forward to hosting you and helping you discover the magic of our favorite places.
