My name is Karen Powell and I was born and bred in Essex. I have had various jobs over the years but absolutely love working in the Holiday Let Industry. After touring the Lake District for many years and staying in various types of accommodation, my husband and myself decided it was time to have a base in the most beautiful part of the country with stunning views and excellent walking for us and our dogs. We have now decided to share this with other travellers who we know will love the experience of Cumbria as much as we do.

Accommodation - ABI Ambleside Static Caravan - Sleeps 4 people only. Bedroom 1 - Spacious Bedroom with King Size Bed. Built in Wardrobe with Drawers below. Mirror Unit & Stool with Drawers to the side & Cupboards above. Window Seat with Drawers below. Two Bedside Cupboards with Overhead Lights. Plus En-suite Bathroom comprising of Shower, Toilet & Wash Basin with Storage Cupboard below & Mirror Cabinet above plus additional Wall Storage Cupboard & shelves above the Towel Radiator. Bedroom 2 - Good size 2nd Bedroom. Two Single Beds. Built in Wardrobe with Drawers below. Wall Mirror Unit with Shelves. Bathroom -Located in the Hallway with Shower, Toilet & Wash Basin with Storage Cupboard below with Mirror above & Large Wall Storage Cupboard to the side & Towel Radiator. Kitchen - Built-in Gas Oven with Built in Microwave above, Built-in 5 Ring Gas Hob, 70/30 Fridge Freezer, Full Size Dishwasher, 9kg Washing Machine, Dulce Gusto Coffee Maker, Kettle, Toaster, Non Stick Saucepans, Frying Pans, Cutlery, Plates, Bowls, Cups and Glasses etc/ Lounge - 43" Hisense Full HD Freeview Smart Television (Use your own Amazon Prime and Netflix Account). Free Wifi available. Outside - Full Gated Decking to front & side of property with Garden Furniture. One Car Parking Space & your own Small Grassed Area to side of Caravan. (Dogs are not permitted on the Central grassed area of the Holiday Park). 1 Medium or 2 Small Dogs allowed on request. All Bed Linen & Towels are supplied. Gas & Electricity is included. There is an additional charge for Cleaning. Any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me. Please note: BRIGHAM HOLIDAY PARK SITE RULES STATE: NO CONTRACTORS ARE PERMITTED TO STAY ON SITE. NO WORK VANS ALLOWED ON SITE. (Other site rules are available on request). There are no facilities to Charge Electric Vehicles on site. The nearest Electric Car Charging Stations to us are currently in Eaglesfield or Cockermouth. Please bear this in mind when booking.

Neighbourhood information

Our Static Caravan is located approx. 3 miles outside Cockermouth with Aldi, Sainsbury's & Lidl as the main supermarkets & plenty of smaller shops, restaurants & cafes helping to make Cockermouth a really lovely town to visit. If you like your beer Jennings Brewery has tours throughout the year & is well worth a look. Check their Website for dates & times of the guided tours. Cockermouth Tourist Information Centre can be found in Main Street & the staff will be happy to help with any questions you may have about the area, to make you stay in the Lake District a memorable one.
